PDF Editor Charged $24 After a One-Time Purchase
On July 13, 2026, I noticed a charge of approximately $24 from pdfeditor.org on my Ziraat Bank debit card. According to my bank receipt, the transaction appears as an international purchase dated July 13, 2026, with “pdfeditor.org” listed as the merchant. I had previously used this website only once for a one-time service that cost approximately $1, and I do not remember authorizing any subscription or recurring payment.
About a week ago, I noticed this approximately $24 transaction while reviewing my account activity. I immediately contacted my bank and disputed the charge because I had not authorized it. However, I have not received any clear information or an adequate explanation about the status of my dispute so far.
I am requesting a full refund of the approximately $24 charged by pdfeditor.org and the complete cancellation of any membership or subscription that may have been opened using my information. I expect the issue caused by this unauthorized high-value charge to be resolved. If the amount is not refunded or I do not receive a reasonable and sufficient explanation, I will continue disputing the transaction through my bank and pursue the appropriate consumer complaint and dispute channels.
