Binance WEB3 Pancakeswap Wcore Coin Scam and Ineffective Support
I purchased a coin named Wcore on Binance WEB3 Pancakeswap. After making a small profit, I attempted to convert it to BNB or USDT, only to encounter an error as shown in the attached screenshot. My funds remain inaccessible.
Upon further investigation, I discovered that the situation seems to be a scam. The advice to purchase this coin came from a so-called crypto technical analyst named e******. I also reached out to Pancakeswap’s customer service, which is listed on their Instagram page with a 0534 number—an already suspicious detail.
The customer service response I received was that the coin I purchased is a "metaverse coin" and that I need to transfer 0.1 ETH (approximately $350) into a meta account to access my funds. This advice from the so-called support team appears to be misleading and deceptive.
When I pointed out these issues, their response was dismissive: "You can file a complaint as you see fit." It feels like a mockery, especially since Binance seems to be ignoring these issues and allowing transactions with questionable entities to proceed. I am requesting a resolution to my situation and compensation for my loss.
