Omio and FlixBus Refused to Refund Me After I Missed My Bus

On March 18 at 1:15 PM, I purchased a ticket through the Omio application for a FlixBus Türkiye trip from Ghent to Paris. Even though I arrived at the bus station on time, I was informed that the bus had departed earlier than the scheduled departure time, and because of this I was unable to join the trip. As a result, I suffered a serious financial loss consisting of the €72 ticket price and approximately €20 in additional travel expenses, along with wasted time and completely disrupted travel plans.

After experiencing this issue, I contacted both Omio and FlixBus Türkiye regarding my reservation number 3337656636. However, I was told that no refund would be provided, and both companies avoided responsibility by directing blame at each other instead of addressing the situation properly. I was neither clearly informed about the process nor offered any meaningful solution to resolve the inconvenience I experienced.

Because of everything that happened, I feel extremely disappointed with both Omio and FlixBus Türkiye and seriously frustrated as a customer. I request a refund for both the ticket price I paid and the additional expenses I incurred because of this failed trip. Since neither company made any real effort to resolve the customer inconvenience caused by this situation, I cannot recommend either service.
