On Saturday, August 10, I booked a stay at Lavinia Hotel in Alaçatı through Odamax, choosing this hotel specifically for its central location near the marketplace, as I planned to attend a concert nearby. However, upon arrival, I found the reception desk empty. When I called the hotel, they claimed they had no reservation under my name and abruptly hung up.
I immediately contacted Odamax, but their only response was, “We’re notifying the relevant department,” without giving any guidance or timeframe. When the hotel representative finally arrived, they dismissed me rudely, stating, “You’re not my responsibility,” and effectively kicked me out. After multiple calls to Odamax, they arranged another hotel 10 km away. Reluctantly, I accepted, only to find a twin-bed room waiting for me, despite informing them that I was traveling with my spouse. To add insult to injury, I was asked to pay an additional fee for this new room.
This entire experience, from the lack of support to being charged extra for a problem I didn’t cause, was the worst I’ve ever encountered. The so-called “solution” offered by Odamax was simply rebooking me elsewhere, something I could have done on my own. After this ordeal, I will never again use Etstur or any related service.
