Odamax Marmaris Mert Seaside Reservation Denied – Left Stranded with No Room
On June 5, 2024, I booked a reservation through Odamax for a stay at Marmaris Mert Seaside from July 20 to July 26. My reservation was confirmed, so I traveled nearly 800 km to Marmaris, expecting a seamless check-in. However, upon arrival, the hotel refused to honor my booking, stating they had no available rooms and claiming they had informed Odamax of the cancellation. The hotel directed me to Odamax, while Odamax insisted they had not been notified by the hotel, ultimately canceling my reservation on the spot. I was left stranded in the intense heat, with no room and only the assurance of a future refund.
This experience was not only stressful but also unfair. Should I just accept the frustration and additional costs of finding a last-minute booking at a higher rate? I demand that Odamax provide immediate compensation for this ordeal and ensure better coordination to prevent future issues like this.
