Unable to Use Samsung Gear VR After Oculus Transition to Meta

May 7, 2024 9:49 AM3

Hello, I have been a loyal Samsung Gear VR user for years, and it worked seamlessly with the Oculus app. However, everything changed after I received the email stating that the platform would transition to Meta. I created a Meta account as instructed, but when I connect my device, it still tries to access the Oculus app. Since the Oculus membership has been discontinued, I am unable to log in, rendering my Gear VR unusable.

If there is a solution to this issue, I would appreciate your guidance. Otherwise, please confirm if the device can no longer be used so I can decide how to proceed. This lack of clarity is frustrating, and I request immediate assistance to resolve this.
