Boyner Refused to Repair My Oakley Frogskin Sunglasses
On July 22, 2025, I purchased a pair of Oakley Frogskin sunglasses from Boyner's online store under order number 4156050679 and paid $147. Shortly afterward, the silicone nose pad on the sunglasses fell off and was lost. When I contacted Boyner customer service, I was told that I needed to take the product to a store and leave it there for inspection.
Accordingly, on May 30, 2026, I took the sunglasses to the Boyner store at Viaport Asya (Kurtköy) and submitted them for repair. When I called on June 10 to ask about the status, I learned that my request had been rejected. When I asked why it had been rejected, I was simply told that there was no specific reason provided and that the request had been rejected. I also tried to obtain the replacement nose pad myself, but I could not find the necessary spare part anywhere on the market.
As a result, I have discovered that despite paying this amount for a branded pair of sunglasses, Boyner has provided me with neither repair support nor access to a replacement part. I am now facing the possibility of having to throw away a product that is still practically new. I request that the necessary replacement part be provided and the sunglasses repaired, or alternatively that the full purchase price be refunded. Because of this experience, I am seriously reconsidering ever purchasing another product from Boyner.
