I own a 2023 Nissan X-Trail e-Power, and in just six months, it has broken down three times while driving—posing a serious safety risk. The car throws error messages while in motion, forcing me to stop immediately. This kind of failure is not only frustrating, it’s extremely dangerous and could easily lead to an accident.
Each time, I’ve had the vehicle towed to the authorized service center—at my own expense, because Nissan’s road assistance didn’t even bother to help. The service center keeps blaming the battery, replacing it each time and then sending me back on the road with no real solution or explanation for the repeated failures.
I’ve been a loyal Nissan customer for over 10 years, never owning a car from any other brand. But this experience has changed everything. Nissan has clearly lost me as a customer. Their service and customer relations are severely lacking—no one follows up, no one takes real responsibility.
For the amount I paid, I could’ve bought a far more reliable vehicle. To anyone considering the X-Trail e-Power: don’t do it. You’ll regret it.
