On April 11, 2025, I purchased a pair of Nike Court Vision sneakers from a Nike store. Just two weeks later, on April 26, the stitching on the front of the shoe began to unravel, and loose threads started hanging from the toe area. I immediately sent the shoes in for inspection, expecting a quick resolution for what was clearly a manufacturing defect.
Instead, I was shocked to receive a rejection, claiming it was “user error.” How exactly could I cause stitching to come undone in just two weeks of normal, casual wear? I didn’t use the shoes for sports or rough activity—only for light, everyday walking. If this kind of premature wear isn't considered a quality issue, then what is?
The frayed threads are clearly visible in the photos I provided and point directly to a defect in the stitching or materials. Blaming the customer and avoiding responsibility in such a short timeframe is unacceptable—especially from a global brand like Nike.
I expected more accountability from a company that prides itself on quality. Before escalating this to the Consumer Arbitration Board, I am reaching out here one last time to ask for a fair resolution.
