My Nike Air Shoes Started Making Noise and They Refused to Replace
In August 2024, I purchased a pair of Nike Air sneakers from In Street. I wore them for a few months, then stored them during the winter. When I started wearing them again, I immediately noticed an odd “squeaking” or “ripping” sound coming from the Air sole with every step I took.
From the outside, the shoes look completely fine—no visible damage or wear. But clearly something went wrong internally with the Air unit. I took them back to the store and requested a product inspection. Unfortunately, Nike responded saying there was no manufacturing defect and offered no repair, replacement, or any kind of solution.
That’s unacceptable. I didn’t misuse these shoes, and they were well cared for. If a product starts breaking down from the inside after minimal use, that is a manufacturing issue. I’m extremely disappointed that Nike won’t take responsibility for what is clearly a hidden defect.
