Hello. On August 17, 2024, I bought a pair of white Nike Air Force sneakers for my daughter from the Sneaks Up store. Right from the start, we noticed something was wrong—the shoes were mismatched, with one shoe being a different size. This mistake injured her toenail, and we had to return to the store to have it corrected. They exchanged the right shoe, and although it was frustrating, we blamed ourselves for not double-checking the size at purchase.
My daughter wore the shoes only to school—nothing excessive or rough—yet within 1–2 months, the right shoe’s leather began to crack, the shape warped, and the structure collapsed. We couldn’t afford to buy a new pair immediately, so she kept wearing them until I managed to purchase another. Still within the first year of use, I returned the damaged pair to the store asking for an inspection, repair, or exchange.
To my disappointment, I received a reply stating that the issue was not related to product quality, and therefore no action could be taken. I am a working person—I don’t pick money up off the street—and I bought those shoes because my child really wanted them and because schools require plain shoes.
The fabric has torn inside, and the material seems to be melting or deteriorating. It’s heartbreaking to see a major brand dismiss genuine customer complaints, especially when the product didn’t even last a year under normal conditions.
Nike, I am asking for what is fair: either replace the faulty shoe or repair the damaged parts. This is your responsibility. Don’t make hardworking families pay the price for poor product quality. I expect a prompt and respectful resolution.
