High-End Nike Shoes Falling Apart in Just 6 Months

I bought a pair of Nike shoes, and they were one of their higher-end models. To my utter dismay, within the first six months, they began to develop cracks. They refused to process a return request in spite of the obvious flaws, which included identical damage to both shoes in the same location. It should come as no surprise that the product is defective. How is it possible for high-end athletic footwear to wear out after only six months of light use? To make matters even more difficult, there is no proper channel for filing complaints on Nike's official website.
