I recently purchased a Neutrogena face product, intending to use it as a moisturizer under makeup. I opened it for the first time and applied it to clean skin, expecting the smooth and nourishing texture the brand promises. Instead, I was shocked to see it immediately start peeling off my face like dried glue or dead skin.
It felt like I had layers of dirt being lifted off my face, even though my skin was already clean. The product rolled up into visible clumps, making it completely unusable under makeup—or for anything else, frankly. I’ve used Neutrogena products before and never encountered this kind of texture issue, so I’m unsure whether I received a faulty batch or if the formula has changed.
It’s very frustrating to spend my money on something that doesn't do what it claims and instead makes my skin look worse. If this is how all of these products behave, that’s a serious issue that the brand needs to address. I want Neutrogena to investigate this and either issue a refund or send a replacement that actually works as advertised.
