Netshort Charged $152 to My Card Without Authorization

Although neither my wife nor I have ever downloaded the Netshort app on our phones, an unauthorized transaction of $152 was made from my wife's VakıfBank card on October 5, 2026, at 2:28:41 PM. The transaction appears in the bank statement as an international digital virtual POS e-commerce purchase with the description “Netshort. G0b25350yqrm.”

I would like to clearly state that neither my wife nor I authorized this transaction and that our card information was used without our knowledge or consent. As soon as we noticed the transaction, we immediately contacted VakıfBank and had the card canceled. The bank advised us to initiate legal proceedings and contact the relevant authorities, but it has not provided us with a complaint or case number at this time.

I urgently request a full refund of the $152 charged to our card by Netshort without our authorization, along with an explanation of how this unauthorized transaction occurred. I also request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible and that the necessary security measures be taken to prevent a similar incident from happening again.
