A few months ago, due to overheating issues posing a danger, I sent my MSI laptop to ServisPoint for repairs. However, it was only returned after a battery replacement. Under warranty, I expressed my concerns via email and requested a replacement for my device. Currently, I'm experiencing the following issues:
Occasional speaker sound interruptions
Touchpad malfunction
Expansion of the bottom plastic area due to past overheating
Periodic screen blackouts
These issues indicate problems throughout the laptop's circuits. Given its technological nature and the potential for permanent damage beyond just the battery, such as in the CPU and motherboard due to excessive heat, problems have resurfaced shortly after. Therefore, I request that the device be re-evaluated by a more experienced technician and replaced as per my entitlement.
On November 20, 2023, MSI technicians reported that no issues were found with my laptop sent to the authorized service center due to excessive heat caused by software and hardware-related errors, and only a battery replacement was necessary. As a computer engineer and expert, I must emphasize that the overheating was not normal. However, to avoid any harm to the warranty process, I sent it directly to you without any intervention. If it happens again, I cannot risk potential life-threatening explosions due to heating, similar to those in smartphones. I also believe that this overheating may have caused permanent damage to integrated circuits beyond the battery, such as the CPU and motherboard. Therefore, I request that the device be re-evaluated by a more experienced technician and replaced as per my entitlement.
I believe the device is defective. With my warranty period nearing its end and concerns about encountering different problems again, I request a replacement device. I hope you can permanently resolve my issue.
