MoneyGram Rejected My Transfer and Withheld Funds Without Explanation

I live in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and on 27/05/2026 my uncle sent me 2,000 USD via MoneyGram so that I could purchase building materials for his house. When I tried to receive the transfer, MoneyGram rejected it without a clear explanation and I was unable to collect the funds. The transfer reference number is 55460380. This money is my uncle’s lawful funds and it is specifically intended for construction materials. I can even prove this with an invoice for the items we planned to purchase. Despite this, the transaction was simply rejected, which has delayed the work on his house and caused us serious inconvenience. I request that MoneyGram urgently review this transfer, clearly explain in writing why it was rejected, and either release the 2,000 USD to me in Montego Bay or ensure that the money is safely and immediately returned to my uncle. I also ask that any unjust block or restriction on my ability to receive such transfers be reviewed and lifted so that we can complete these legitimate purchases without further problems.
