Branch Staff Blocked My MoneyGram Transfer Without Just Cause

On May 13, 2025, I visited the RIA-UPT / MoneyGram branch located in Odunpazarı, Eskişehir to send money to Russia. Despite having completed similar transactions before, the female staff member at the branch refused to process the transfer, claiming reasons like “system error” and “transfer quota full.” However, these were clearly unfounded excuses because the same transaction was successfully completed by the male employee at the same branch on a different occasion.
This wasn’t a one-time incident—it happened twice, and each time it was the female staff member who blocked the process, seemingly due to personal attitude rather than any real technical issue. This inconsistent and arbitrary behavior caused significant inconvenience and seriously damaged my trust in the institution.
I am requesting an investigation into this staff member’s conduct and expect RIA-UPT to take appropriate action. Customers should not be subjected to such subjective and obstructive service. If one staff member can process a transfer, another shouldn't be allowed to block it at will.
