I Can’t Return My Unused Estée Lauder Foundation from Elca Because They Claim It’s Open

Hello, I’ve been a regular customer of Elca Kozmetik for quite some time and have never encountered a problem—until now. I recently purchased an Estée Lauder foundation, but soon after receiving it, I realized it wasn’t the right product for me and wanted to return it. I tried reaching out for a return for over a week, and today I finally received a call back. To my shock, they told me the product had been opened, so they would not accept the return.

This is absolutely unacceptable because I never opened or used the foundation. It didn’t even have a protective seal, so how can I be sure it wasn’t opened before it reached me? It’s extremely unfair for them to shift the blame on the customer after keeping me waiting for days.

Every other brand accepts returns, even for slightly used items, yet Elca refuses to take back a sealed, unused one. I feel taken advantage of. I demand that they honor the return and issue a refund. If not, I will escalate this and file a formal complaint. Customers deserve better service and transparency from both Estée Lauder and Elca Kozmetik.
