Microsoft Bitlocker Key Not Found

Hello, I switched from Windows 11 to Windows 10 on my computer with a clean installation. After the installation, the D drive was encrypted with BitLocker. I was never informed that such encryption would take place without my consent. The recovery key was not sent to my Microsoft account. I logged in from different devices, but still couldn’t access it. This has caused me to lose access to important personal files. I am also unable to reach Microsoft support. What right do you have to encrypt something personal that does not concern you? I expect a response.
