Mercedes-Benz CLA 220 Brake Noise Ignored by Service Center
I called Mercedes-Benz Diyarbakır Service today regarding my Mercedes-Benz CLA 220, a brand-new vehicle with only 6,000 kilometers, because the brake pads are making noise and the vehicle needs a software update. I explained that I live in Nusaybin and that traveling back and forth would be difficult for me. Despite this, I was told over the phone that the necessary work would be completed within one day.
Based on this information, I traveled from Nusaybin to Diyarbakır for the service appointment. However, when I arrived at the service center, I encountered a completely different situation. They did not even inspect the brake issue on my brand-new vehicle with only 6,000 kilometers, and I was also told that the vehicle would need to remain at the service center for at least two days for the software update. The one-day timeframe I was given over the phone suddenly became two days, and no solution was offered.
I also requested a replacement vehicle, but none was provided. I received no assistance whatsoever regarding how I was supposed to return to Nusaybin. Throughout the process, the dismissive and seemingly mocking attitude of the employees, along with their lack of interest in helping me, made the situation even more frustrating. After traveling all that way for nothing, I had no choice but to take my vehicle back without any work being performed.
Experiencing a brake noise issue on a brand-new Mercedes-Benz with only 6,000 kilometers is already unacceptable, and I believe the approach taken by the Diyarbakır service center is not appropriate for the Mercedes-Benz brand. I request that my inconvenience be addressed, given the inaccurate information provided over the phone, the failure to inspect the brake noise, and the refusal to provide a replacement vehicle. I also request that the service center's handling of this matter be properly investigated.
