Mercedes CLA 220 12V and Drivetrain Errors Before 100 km

On Friday, 7 July 2026, I purchased a Mercedes CLA 220 from the Koluman branch in Göztepe, Istanbul. Before the vehicle had even reached 50 km, it developed a fault and displayed a 12V error. The roadside assistance technician who arrived jump-started my brand-new vehicle and told us that the fault would resolve itself, then sent us on our way. After driving approximately another 50 km, I stopped the vehicle and encountered the same error again, causing me serious inconvenience. I had to wait for assistance for hours in the middle of the road in a place I did not know at all. My vehicle was towed to the Merter Otomol service center. There, I was informed that there was a chain of software errors and that the installation had not been completed. We waited all day for the software to be installed. Once the process was completed, we were called back to the service center, went for a test drive with the technician, and were told that the problem was no longer present, so we were sent on our way again. After driving approximately 30 km to where I was staying, I turned off the vehicle, and this time it would not start at all. The vehicle displayed both a drivetrain error and a 12V error. I had to call roadside assistance again, and my vehicle was once again sent to the service center. The process of the vehicle being transported by tow truck is also clearly documented with photographs. In addition to all of this, there is a deep scratch on the front daytime running LED of my vehicle and a small stone mark on the left rear door. There are also visible scratches and damage on the front bumper trim and body panels. We noticed these easily as soon as we drove the vehicle out of the dealership and parked it in the sunlight. When we reported the situation to the dealership, we were told that the sale had already been completed and that the matter was no longer their responsibility. Even though I took delivery of the vehicle on Friday, I have still been unable to return to either my home or my work, and I am waiting for a clear response from the service center. This entire experience has left me deeply regretting this purchase. I was specifically advised to choose Mercedes in order to “experience luxury,” but I am currently experiencing one of the biggest shocks of my life. I travelled from Erzincan to Istanbul to take delivery of my vehicle and have been stranded on the road multiple times in places completely unfamiliar to me. All of my work and responsibilities have been disrupted. I have suffered both financial and emotional losses, yet I still have not received a definitive solution. I believe that this brand-new vehicle I purchased is defective. Therefore, I demand that my vehicle be replaced with a brand-new, defect-free vehicle and that the financial losses I have incurred during this process be compensated. I would also like to make it clear that, as a consumer, I will fully exercise all of my legal rights.
