Medigold Sultangazi Refused My Private Insurance—Told to Pay Instead
I went to Medigold Sultangazi Hospital with a severe throat infection and diarrhea, expecting treatment under my private health insurance. However, I was told that the doctor’s quota for insured patients was full, so they refused to examine me. Instead, they said I could be seen only if I paid out of pocket. How is this even possible? Why do I have private insurance if I can’t use it when I need medical care? If the hospital has an agreement with insurance providers, why impose a patient limit? This is completely unethical and unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint about this practice. Medigold, fix this issue! Patients deserve fair access to healthcare!
