Medigold Sultan Hospital Charged Me Twice & Refused Follow-Up Care
On January 25, 2025, I was admitted to Medigold Sultan Hospital’s emergency department due to a medical issue. I received an IV drip and medication, then was discharged. However, my symptoms did not improve, so I returned for a follow-up visit on February 1, 2025, well within what should be the standard follow-up period.
To my shock, I was told that because my initial visit was through the emergency department, there was no follow-up policy, meaning I had to pay for another consultation. This makes no sense—I paid the full emergency fee, yet they refuse to provide proper follow-up care. On top of that, they charged me a specialist consultation fee but had me seen by a general practitioner instead!
I paid ₺5,000, expecting professional and ethical treatment, but instead, I was overcharged and denied proper care. This was a hospital I trusted, but after this experience, I will never return.
Medigold Sultan Hospital, I demand an explanation and a refund for this unfair charge! You cannot take advantage of patients in need of medical care. Has anyone else experienced this? I expect a quick resolution!
