Mavi Jeans Refuses Exchange for Unused Socks Purchased as Gift

A pair of socks was purchased as a gift for me from the Mavi Jeans store located on Atatürk Avenue, Tophane Neighborhood, Rize Merkez. Since the color did not suit me and I had never used or worn the socks, I went to the store on April 26, 2026, to request an exchange.

However, the store staff refused my request, stating that they do not accept returns or exchanges for socks and that this is company policy. Even though the receipt and product tag clearly show the price, they also refused to offer an exchange for another product of equal value.

I find it unacceptable from both a customer satisfaction perspective and Mavi’s brand image that a completely unused gift item cannot be exchanged and that no alternative solution is offered. I request that an exchange be provided for this unused gifted product and that the store’s handling of this situation be reviewed and addressed.
