Mango Denied My Exchange Request Due to Discounted Pricing

About a week ago, I purchased the coat with code euank4 from Mango’s website — it was something my spouse really wanted. However, the coat turned out to be too large, so we decided to exchange it. When my spouse went to the Mango store at Forum Mall today, they were told that an exchange could not be made because the item had been purchased at a discount.

If there is such a restriction on exchanges for discounted items — especially purchases made online — I believe it should be clearly communicated to customers. When every product normally has a standard return and exchange period, refusing to help solely because the item was discounted is surprising and completely contrary to customer satisfaction. This is not the kind of practice I would expect from a brand we enjoy shopping from.

I am simply requesting an exchange because the size does not fit. I want Mango to honor my right to exchange an item purchased online and to provide a solution that does not leave the customer at a disadvantage.
