Mango Cancels Discounted Order After Days of Processing
On Monday, March 23, at around 10:00 AM, I placed an order through the Mango online app for a discounted bag, paying approximately $38. My order was confirmed and appeared as “preparing” in the app for two days. During this time, I checked the website again to review the stock and price of the same bag, and I even checked which stores had it available—the product still appeared to be in stock.
Despite all this, I just received an email stating that my order (No: F1H6JO) was canceled due to the item being out of stock. I have experienced a similar situation before with Mango when ordering a discounted wallet; that order was also kept in “preparing” status for days and then canceled with the same “out of stock” reason.
I genuinely do not understand Mango’s policy regarding online stock and campaign management, as I keep encountering the same issue repeatedly. Orders are confirmed and shown as being prepared for days, only to be canceled later due to “no stock.” This causes both a waste of time and a serious loss of trust.
After this latest cancellation, I sent an email to customer service but have not yet received any response. In the previous similar case, I was simply told that the order was canceled and nothing else could be done. Due to this repeated issue, I feel that I have been treated unfairly. I request that Mango provide a satisfactory explanation regarding both this specific order and their overall stock and cancellation process, take necessary corrective actions, and resolve my inconvenience.
The tone of the customer representatives was very rude and dismissive, not aimed at solving the problem, but more like they wanted the conversation to end as soon as possible. Also, I was only able to reach the representatives once through my own effort; they never initiated contact.
