I am a Capitec Bank account holder with a linked debit card, and I have identified unauthorized transactions made by Loca-tool.com using my card without my consent.
I have never knowingly subscribed to or used this website, yet funds have been deducted from my account. The first unauthorized charge occurred on February 22 at approximately 3:00 a.m. in the amount of R12.50. A second charge followed on February 23 at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the amount of R146.25. In total, R158.75 has been withdrawn from my account.
These transactions were not authorized by me, and I did not knowingly provide my card details to Loca-tool.com for any subscription or recurring payment. The email address I generally use for online registrations is liyemalama***@gmail.com.
I request a full refund of the R158.75 taken from my account. I also demand the immediate cancellation of any active, hidden, or recurring subscription or payment mandate linked to my card at Loca-tool.com.
Additionally, I request written confirmation explaining how my card was charged without my explicit consent and what measures will be taken to prevent any further unauthorized deductions.
