Location Tool Made an Unauthorized Charge to My Credit Card
An unauthorized charge of $20 was made on July 19, 2026, at 9:55 AM from my Garanti Bank credit card by a company called Location Tool, even though I have never subscribed to any of their services. I never created an account with this company, nor did I authorize them to use my card information. This transaction was completed entirely without my knowledge or consent, and I feel like I have been the victim of unauthorized credit card fraud. The dollar amount is based on the current USD/TRY exchange rate and rounded to the nearest whole dollar.
As soon as I noticed the transaction, I immediately tried to contact both my bank and the company involved. However, I have not received any response from either party. Since I actively use this credit card, I have not yet been able to cancel it, but I urgently request that this unauthorized transaction be investigated and that my financial loss be addressed as quickly as possible.
I demand a full refund of the $20 that was withdrawn from my card without my permission. If any subscription or membership has been created in my name, I also request that it be canceled immediately and permanently. I expect both my bank and Location Tool to thoroughly investigate this unauthorized charge, keep me informed throughout the process, and resolve my complaint without further delay.
