Request For Review Of Restricted LinkedIn Account


My LinkedIn personal profile was suddenly restricted on March 11, and since then I have been unable to access and use my account both while in Nigeria and when I am overseas. After contacting LinkedIn support, I received a standard response stating that my account had violated the LinkedIn User Agreement and Professional Community Policies, and that due to the number and/or severity of these alleged violations, my account would remain restricted. The support interaction is referenced under case number 260315-015661. After reviewing the situation, I believe the issue may be related to how my account was accessed from different countries. I had allowed a trusted contact to access my account, which I now understand is not permitted and can be seen as a security concern. To correct this, I have revoked any shared access, changed my password, and taken steps to secure my account so that it will be used only by me from now on. I respect LinkedIn’s policies and understand the importance of maintaining account integrity. I respectfully request that my account be fully reactivated and that my case be reviewed once more in light of the corrective steps I have taken. I am committed to complying fully with all LinkedIn guidelines going forward.
