Yellow Tint Problem On LG OLED TV
Hello, We have been happily using our LG OLED TV, which we bought in 2018. However, for the past 1-2 years, we have been experiencing an issue with the yellow color. We were able to tolerate it for a while, but now it has become unbearable. When we contacted LG, they couldn’t help since the warranty has expired. They directed us to an authorized service center, but of course, they asked for a fee just for inspection, and you can imagine there would be a significant charge for any major repair. We didn’t accept this, especially after a recent bad experience with an Arçelik coffee machine—the repair offer was almost as much as the price of a new machine. I am aware that the warranty has expired, and honestly, I do not have any particular expectations. However, I just want people who are considering buying an LG OLED TV to look at the photos I’ll upload soon. You can clearly see in the images that the players wearing the same uniform appear yellowish on the left side and almost greenish on the right side.
