I bought the LG 43UJ701V TV in the summer of 2018, and I deeply regret it. Just a year and a half later, the screen color shifted to a blue-purple hue, completely ruining the viewing experience. After the warranty expired, I paid out of pocket for a LED panel replacement through a private technician. But barely a year later, the same issue happened again—the LEDs failed once more.
This isn’t a one-off defect—it’s a chronic problem with this model, and I’m not alone. I’ve seen multiple complaints online describing the exact same issue. For a brand like LG, it’s unacceptable that such a defect appears this quickly, especially when the product emits harsh blue light that strains the eyes.
To make things worse, the TV also suffers from freezing and remote control unresponsiveness. Meanwhile, the entry-level Vestel TV I bought for my father in 2017 still works perfectly.
If I had known this was the level of quality I’d get, I never would have chosen LG. I’m requesting support and a permanent solution for this issue—whether it's a repair or a product replacement.
