LG Washing Machine Tears Cloths During Washing
Our washing machine, which we bought 15 months ago and is still under warranty, is being sent to the service for the second time. The first time we took it, problems with tearing our clothes started (we were sure that the warranty also covered this because they claimed the machine was sold with a no-tear warranty). So, the drum of our machine was replaced, and it was covered by the warranty. The second time, as soon as we heard the sound "Papapapa," I immediately turned off the machine and called the service. They came, said they couldn't fix it at home. When they contacted us, they informed us that a torn laundry fell out from under the drum of the machine, damaging the rear drum. For this, they requested a payment of 3,750 Turkish liras, claiming that it is not covered by the warranty and considering it a user error. I can't even imagine how I could intentionally put something in there that could cause this, so I believe it's a manufacturing error in the machine. After all, there is such a gap in the rubber part of the machine that my fingers can get in there. As long as I use this machine for washing, I need to know how to check the internal part of the washing machine. I urge the responsible parties to address this situation immediately. After this, I will no longer buy LG products for my home.
