LG Washing Machine Arrived Defective and Was Damaged During Installation
I would like to express my deep disappointment regarding the installation process of my newly purchased LG washing machine. On August 12, 2025, I purchased an LG F4Y7EYWYP (11 kg, 1400 rpm) washing machine through Hepsiburada. The installation was carried out by an authorized service team in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul, and during the installation, the appliance was damaged due to negligence.
It was determined that the machine’s drum has a manufacturing defect, which caused water leakage. The service department tried to normalize the issue by stating that this type of defect occurs in one out of every 400 units, but they also made it clear that no request other than repair would be accepted. However, I am requesting a replacement, not a repair, because this product was damaged during installation, has a manufacturing defect, and had never been used.
I specifically chose LG because of its reputation for quality and excellence, yet encountering a defective and damaged product before I even started using it is unacceptable to me. I respectfully request that my washing machine be replaced with a brand-new unit so that this negative experience can be resolved and my grievance can come to an end.
I experienced a drum puncture problem with the LG washing machine I purchased from the seller named Teknomix on Hepsiburada. Although this issue was clearly identified and recorded with a report from the authorized service, neither the seller nor LG officials took responsibility. In the legal process I initiated, the expert examination and subsequent evaluation resulted in the Consumer Arbitration Board finding me justified and ruling in my favor. When I contacted Kutup Pazarlama company to convey this decision, not only was the matter ignored, but I was also met with your customer representative's extremely flippant and unprofessional attitude. I would like to expressly state that this is my final written warning. I warn that if the Consumer Arbitration Board's decision is not complied with promptly and fully, and your obligations under the decision are not fulfilled, I will initiate enforcement proceedings against you within the scope of my legal rights.
