I would like to express my deep disappointment regarding the installation process of my newly purchased LG washing machine. On August 12, 2025, I purchased an LG F4Y7EYWYP (11 kg, 1400 rpm) washing machine through Hepsiburada. The installation was carried out by an authorized service team in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul, and during the installation, the appliance was damaged due to negligence.
It was determined that the machine’s drum has a manufacturing defect, which caused water leakage. The service department tried to normalize the issue by stating that this type of defect occurs in one out of every 400 units, but they also made it clear that no request other than repair would be accepted. However, I am requesting a replacement, not a repair, because this product was damaged during installation, has a manufacturing defect, and had never been used.
I specifically chose LG because of its reputation for quality and excellence, yet encountering a defective and damaged product before I even started using it is unacceptable to me. I respectfully request that my washing machine be replaced with a brand-new unit so that this negative experience can be resolved and my grievance can come to an end.
