LG Washing Machine Tears Clothes and Leaks – No Support from Service Team




I purchased an LG washing machine from LG Brandshop CNG at Teras Park Mall, Denizli, in July 2024. From the very start, the machine has been tearing, ripping, and damaging my clothes, including newly purchased ones. Every item I’ve washed has been ruined.
The service provider, Kantar Mühendislik, initially replaced the drum, but the issues persisted. I later noticed water leaking from the machine's seal. When I contacted Kantar Mühendislik again, they dismissed the problem as "user error." I explained that my previous Arçelik machine never caused such issues and that this LG machine has caused significant financial loss due to destroyed clothes.
On January 18, 2025, their team visited again and suggested the solution was to "buy new clothes" and stated that clothes being torn within three months of washing is "normal." They refused to assist further, telling me to take my case to the Consumer Arbitration Board or court.
I have counted 33 pieces of clothing that have been destroyed, with others soon to follow. I am frustrated with LG, Teras Park LG Brandshop, and Kantar Mühendislik for their lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve the problem. I demand compensation for my financial loss and a proper resolution to this ongoing issue.
