LG Asked an Outrageous Price for a Simple Gasket on My Washer Dryer Combo

The door gasket of our 4-year-old LG washing machine is punctured. When we called the service, they quoted ₺4,800 just for the gasket. For those who don't know, this is the most basic plastic part of the machine. Charging ₺4,800 for a simple piece of plastic is unbelievable. Their excuse was that the part is imported. Our machine is a washer-dryer combo, but from the very beginning, it has never washed or dried properly. We somehow managed to get by, but it has been a disappointment in every way. Instead of paying ₺4,800 for a plastic part, it makes more sense to throw this machine away and buy a locally made one. Do not buy an LG washing machine and do not recommend it to others!
