On October 21, 2025, I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad laptop and a Microsoft Office 2024 license from the Vatan Bilgisayar Kadıköy store. From the very first day, the touchpad did not work at all, so I took the device back to the same store. The store staff told me they could not take any action, that they could not accept a return or exchange, and that I needed to contact Lenovo directly. The fact that they refused to accept a return for a brand-new product that was defective from day one was extremely disappointing and showed how inadequate the after-sales service was. Lenovo support sent me some instructions by email, but even after following them exactly, the issue was not resolved, and I was told to take the device to an authorized service center. The service kept the laptop for about a week and then returned it, claiming the issue was software-related after installing an application. When I brought the device home, I discovered that it could no longer connect to the internet. I took it back to Vatan Bilgisayar again, but despite the product being under warranty, I received no support and was once again redirected to Lenovo support. Lenovo support then told me that the required internet connection feature was not present on the laptop. However, I was able to connect to the internet before sending the device to service, which means the device was opened and modified during service without clearly informing me. I was forced to take the laptop back to service again. This time, it stayed in service for more than a week, and I was again told that it was a system issue that had been fixed with a software installation. When I brought the device home, I noticed that a strip piece on the bottom of the laptop had been removed, and the device looked worn out, almost as if it had been used for years. The notebook I bought as brand new became both physically and functionally problematic within three months. In addition to all this, I am also unable to activate my Microsoft Office 2024 license because it has been used without my authorization by a user with the email address Fi*[email protected]. For nearly three months, I have not been able to use my Lenovo Ideapad properly; I have constantly gone back and forth between technical service and support lines, my device has been damaged, my Office license has effectively been stolen, and I have suffered greatly due to both Lenovo’s and Vatan Bilgisayar’s after-sales service. Because of all these issues, I request a full refund of the amount I paid for the laptop and the unused Office license, and I ask that all of my grievances related to this device be fully resolved.
