Denied Refund at Lego Store Despite Providing Proof of Purchase
Hello, on July 18, 2024, I purchased an item from the Ankamall Lego store, and on July 26, I attempted to return it. However, the employee refused my request because I lost the receipt, even though they were able to locate the receipt and my information in their system. When I made the purchase, I was told that providing my phone number would be sufficient for any transaction. They said they could accept an exchange but not a refund. Even smaller businesses provide assistance when given the date of purchase, so I find it unacceptable that such a well-established company is making things difficult for a loyal customer. I expect my issue to be resolved, or I will pursue all legal avenues. I have already contacted Lego’s Instagram account and spoken with the main office, but my problem remains unresolved as they said store policies are at the discretion of individual locations. As a consumer, I know I am entitled to a no-questions-asked exchange right. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?
