Hidden Milk Allergen in Lay’s Spicy Chips

Due to my baby’s milk allergy, I am following a dairy-free diet. I read the ingredient lists of all the products I consume. The Lay’s Spicy Chips did not list milk in its ingredients. There was no allergen information. However, after eating the Lay’s Spicy Chips, I observed severe milk allergy symptoms in my baby. This was a time when I absolutely could not break my diet. Unfortunately, my child suffered greatly. After searching online, I discovered that the Lay’s Spicy Chips contain whey permeate. This ingredient was not listed on the product I bought. How could such an oversight happen? If a baby with a milk allergy develops anaphylaxis after consuming this product, who will take responsibility? The lack of allergen information is unacceptable. I am expecting a response from the authorities.
