Today I received my order (#1374718) from Sachane, which included La Roche-Posay Effaclar Gel and Effaclar Duo+. I tried them for the first time today, but immediately after application I experienced an intense burning sensation, redness, and swelling on my face. At the moment, my skin feels extremely sensitive and uncomfortable—I even had to hold my face in front of the air conditioner just to get some relief. I have never experienced such a reaction with any skincare product before.
Both the packaging and expiration dates appear to be in order, and I did not notice anything unusual about the products that would make me suspect they are not authentic. Still, this severe reaction has left me very concerned.
I urgently request clarification from La Roche-Posay or the seller: is this type of burning and irritation a normal, temporary side effect, or should I stop using the products altogether? I need clear guidance on whether it is safe to continue or if I should discontinue use immediately. My skin health is at risk, and I expect a prompt response.
