Turkcell SIM Card Delivery Failed Due to False Courier Report

I live in Karşıyaka, İzmir, and I placed an online SIM card order with Turkcell for a new line. My first order, which arrived on January 9, 2026, was supposed to be delivered within two days by a courier company called Kuryenet, but it was not delivered, and I was forced to cancel the order.

That same evening, I went to a Turkcell store to try to get the SIM card and package in person. However, I was told that the package I wanted was online-only and that the store could not help me. As a result, around 8:00 PM on January 9, I placed another SIM card order through Turkcell’s online system.

This new application, with reference number 4581160025943, was handed over to Kuryenet on January 12 and showed as “out for delivery.” When I checked the Kuryenet tracking on January 16, it stated that delivery would be made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and I stayed home all day. Despite this, I did not receive any notification or update during the day.

At around 4:30 PM, I received an SMS from Turkcell saying, “Your SIM card is out for delivery,” and I specifically waited for the courier after that. Because I had previously experienced similar issues where they falsely claimed I was not at home, I contacted Turkcell around 5:30 PM to inform them that I was at home, that the courier had not arrived, and that incorrect information was being provided.

Despite this, at 5:58 PM, I received a message stating that the delivery could not be completed because I was not at home, even though I was there the entire time. Being marked as “not at home” despite waiting all day, receiving no proper notifications, and being subjected to a misleading and stalling delivery process has left me extremely dissatisfied with Kuryenet.

I am upset both about the wasted time and the material and emotional distress this situation caused. I request a formal apology and explanation from Kuryenet, compensation for the inconvenience I experienced, and that necessary sanctions be applied to prevent such false delivery claims from happening again.

Additionally, to prevent further customer harm, I request that no institutions or companies continue working with this courier firm, given the recurring issues experienced by many customers.
