Missing Product in Kiehl’s Order and Poor Customer Service

On November 2, 2024, I placed an order (KLS1000673981) with Kiehl’s, which was supposed to include an Ultra Facial Cream 7ml sample (barcode: 3605972807779). However, the product was missing from the package when I received it. I contacted customer service and was informed that the product was packed, citing a review of their camera footage.

The issue is that I did not receive the item. It may have been lost during shipping, but this is not my responsibility. I expected better from a brand like Kiehl’s. Dismissing my concern by stating, "It’s not our fault," without offering any resolution is unacceptable. While the missing product is a complimentary sample, the experience has severely undermined my trust in the brand.

As someone who frequently shops online, this is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation. Telling customers to prove what was or wasn’t in the package is unreasonable. I don’t record myself unboxing orders. Whether the item was sent or not, this experience has left me hesitant to shop with Kiehl’s again. If this can happen with a free product, it makes me question whether paid items could also be mishandled. I urge Kiehl’s to resolve this issue promptly.
