I Face Persistent Bad Odor and Faulty Temperature Display on Kia Ceed Hybrid

I own a 2021 Kia Ceed Hybrid, which I primarily use for commuting and occasional long drives. Despite being only at 19,000 kilometers, I have been facing an unbearable problem with the air conditioning system. For the past few months, a horrible sewer-like smell has been coming from the AC. I have never experienced anything like this in any of the cars I’ve owned before.
To resolve this, I took my car to two different authorized Kia service centers in İzmir. They recommended a full air conditioning maintenance and pollen filter replacement, claiming that this issue is common in these vehicles and unfortunately cannot be permanently resolved. I followed their advice and spent 2,500 ₺ on the suggested maintenance, yet within a week, the same terrible odor returned. Driving my car now feels like sitting next to a decaying animal carcass.
In addition to this, my vehicle’s temperature display is completely inaccurate. On days when the actual temperature in İzmir reaches 45°C, the car misleadingly shows only 29°C, even at noon under the blazing sun. This leaves me wondering what other issues might be going unnoticed.
I am extremely disappointed, as I’ve always maintained my vehicle at authorized service centers and expected better quality from Kia. I demand a permanent and effective solution for both the AC odor and the faulty temperature reading. I also expect a full investigation into these issues, along with either a free repair or replacement of the defective components. Please take this complaint seriously and resolve these problems immediately to restore my confidence in your brand.
