Kia EV6 Periodic Maintenance Excessive Price For Basic Service
I own a Kia EV6 and on 01/12/2025 I had its periodic maintenance done at Kia Baykaralar authorized service. For this maintenance, in which only the pollen filter and hydraulic brake fluid were changed, I was charged ₺15,000. I find this amount extremely excessive for such a limited operation. I also own another fully electric vehicle of a different brand and for the same type of maintenance operations, the prices are approximately 55% lower. When I compare the maintenance cost of my Kia EV6 with the similar maintenance costs of other brands, the price difference is so large that I consider Kia’s maintenance pricing to be unfair and disproportionate. I contacted Kia customer services about this situation and was told that authorized services are free to set their own pricing policies and that they cannot create a complaint or intervene regarding the fee charged. This approach, combined with the very high cost I have been charged, has seriously damaged my trust in the brand. As someone who chose Kia for the first time, I deeply regret this purchase due to the maintenance costs. I request that this exorbitant pricing practice be cancelled, that the amount I paid for this maintenance be reviewed and refunded, and that a fair, transparent and reasonable standard pricing policy be implemented for maintenance operations so that customers are not victimized in this way.
