Unwanted Charge by JustAnswer On Bank Statement

I used the website mech.justanswer.com to start an online chat and was charged $5.00 to begin. At no point did I clearly understand that I was signing up for an ongoing membership. Only after checking my bank statement and seeing additional charges did I realize that I had been unknowingly subscribed to a membership, which I find very deceptive. On my Centier Bank statement, I was charged $43.00 on June 10th and $38.00 on July 10th by JustAnswer. I then called to cancel over the phone. I also tried to resolve this via online chat, but the representative told me I would have to pay another $5.00 that would supposedly be refundable, which I found unreasonable given that I was already disputing charges I had not knowingly agreed to. I request that the $38.00 charge dated July 10th be refunded to me and that my membership be fully cancelled so that no further charges are made to my account. I also ask that this misleading sign‑up and billing experience be reviewed so that other customers are not put in the same situation.
