Jack & Jones Refused My T Shirt Exchange After 5 Days

Although I regularly shop at the Jack Jones store, they refused to accept a t-shirt I wanted to exchange—even though I had the receipt—just because the 5-day return period had passed. The product was still unused and had its tag on. I explained the situation politely and reminded them of my loyalty as a frequent customer, but it made no difference. Their attitude made me feel like my satisfaction as a customer didn't matter at all. Would it have hurt to make an exception for the sake of good customer service? I even left behind another item I was about to purchase at the counter and walked out. I will never shop at Jack Jones again.
