I am compelled to share my troubling experience with İş Bankası concerning the 1,238₺ nursing allowance provided by the government for newborns—an amount that is undeniably safeguarded under Article 93 of Law 5510. Even with this legal protection confirming the rule, İş Bankası went ahead and deducted the entire allowance from my negative balance without any hesitation. This money was intended for my child's essential needs, but the bank prioritized its claim instead. I was advised to refrain from making any payments for 45 days while they set up a debt restructuring plan, but it seems like the system quickly takes every cent that comes into the account. The inconsistencies and apparent disregard for proper procedures in managing such a delicate payment made me wonder how a bank could so easily ignore established guidelines and basic logic.
