İş Bankası Charged Me Cash Withdrawal Interest on Automatic Payments Without Notice

İş Bankası charged me interest without my knowledge or being informed. I am a teacher and became a salaried customer of İş Bankası about six months ago. When I decided to transfer my automatic bill payments to İş Bankası, I called customer service to set up the payment instructions. The representative asked whether I wanted the payments to be deducted from my account or my credit card, but did not provide any additional details. It turns out that if a bill over ₺500 is paid using a credit card, they charge a cash withdrawal interest rate. For the past six months, I’ve been unknowingly paying this cash withdrawal interest on my bills. I am filing this complaint because I was never informed about these charges. I was very satisfied with Yapı Kredi, and I sincerely hope our next salary agreement will be with them. Goodbye.
