After the update that was released on the night of January 13, 2026, my Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max became severely slow and almost unusable. Compared to its performance before the update, my phone now behaves like a 10-year-old, outdated device, with constant lagging and freezing. The screen frequently stutters, touch inputs respond with delay, and the system only recovers after several seconds.
In addition, the Face ID feature stopped working properly after this update. Face ID, which previously recognized my face without any issues, now fails repeatedly, gives errors, and forces me to unlock the phone only with a passcode. Experiencing such a drastic performance drop along with the failure of a core security feature has caused serious inconvenience.
Since there is no option to roll back the update, I am currently forced to use my phone in this slow, laggy, and freezing state. Considering that this is a new and powerful device, it is completely unacceptable for it to suddenly behave as if it has aged years due to a software update.
I am requesting that this issue be urgently resolved through a software fix, that a necessary optimization or corrective update be released, or that any solution required be implemented so my phone can return to its previous performance level and have a properly functioning Face ID again.
