iPhone 12 Freezing After iOS 26 Update, Requesting Downgrade Option
On September 17, 2025, I installed the latest iOS 26 update on my iPhone 12, and ever since, the device has been experiencing severe freezing issues. The phone constantly lags, especially when switching between apps, making it nearly impossible to use smoothly. I never had this problem before the update, which clearly points to a software-related issue. I have not yet contacted Apple customer support and have not tried any fixes on my own. My phone is no longer under warranty, but since the issue began only after installing iOS 26, I am requesting that Apple provide a solution—specifically, the ability to downgrade to iOS 18, which worked flawlessly. I expect a prompt resolution to restore normal functionality.
