If the India Post Payments Bank app keeps crashing during transactions, first make sure both the IPPB app and your phone’s OS are fully updated, because outdated software often causes instability during payment processing.

Also restart your phone and close background apps to free up RAM, which helps with heavy tasks like UPI/transactions.

If crashes persist, go to your phone’s Settings → Apps → IPPB/DakPay and clear the app cache — this removes corrupted temporary data that commonly triggers crashes.

On Android you can also clear storage/data (you’ll need to log in again), which often fixes deeper app issues.

Check that your internet connection is stable (switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data) since poor connectivity can make the app fail mid-transaction.
